Bio
Candace has been practicing yoga for 14 years and teaching for 8. She enjoys teaching an Iyengar and Vinyasa style yoga that encourages students to access their inner strength by engaging their core muscles, mind, and spirit. Candace asks students to explore the edges of experience in the asanas (poses) by being present on the mat with the intent of kindness and receptivity. She encourages students to be amazed by what their bodies CAN do -- how they can hold themselves up in a strong, graceful posture -- taking what they learn on the mat out into their homes and into the world.
